Our lawful bases

Depending on the situation, we rely on: taking steps at your request before entering a contract; performing our contract with you; complying with legal obligations; our legitimate interests in running and protecting the business; and your consent where consent is specifically required, such as for non-essential cookies.

Who we share it with

How long we keep it

  • unsuccessful or general enquiries: normally up to 12 months
  • ordinary chat and support correspondence: normally up to 12 months, unless linked to an installation or a dispute
  • property photographs: deleted when no longer reasonably needed, normally within 90 days after completion, unless needed for a warranty issue, dispute or legal reason

Cookies and website tracking

Cookies and similar technology needed to run the website work by default. Non-essential cookies and scripts, including advertising measurement and any chat tool that sets non-essential cookies, only load if you accept optional cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie banner controls, and declining does not affect booking an installation.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us for access to your information, or to correct, delete, restrict or transfer it, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent you have given. Email hello@guardable.co and we will deal with it.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
