Weak Wi-Fi at the back of the house?
We’ll check the relevant Wi-Fi signal during installation. If a simple Wi-Fi extender is needed to give the cameras a reliable connection, we’ll supply and set one up at no extra cost where suitable. If your property needs something more substantial, we’ll explain the options before continuing.

- Is this traditional wired CCTV?
- No. The supplied cameras are battery powered and record detected events rather than continuous 24/7 wired CCTV footage. You can also view them live in the Tapo app whenever you want.
- Will the solar cameras work in winter?
- Yes. The cameras run from their rechargeable batteries, while the solar panels top them up whenever conditions allow. Tapo rates the C410 for up to 180 days on a full charge under test conditions, so a fully charged camera has substantial battery reserve going into winter. Actual battery life varies with usage, settings, Wi-Fi, temperature and available sunlight.
- Can you install on a rented home?
- Yes, provided any permission required by your tenancy or property owner for external mounting has been obtained before we attend.
- Is £399 the complete standard price?
- £399 is the complete price for the standard Whole Home Camera System package and a standard installation. If a property needs extra cameras, unusual access or non-standard work, we explain and agree the cost with you before any work is carried out.
